Time: 12pm - 6pm
Location: Marrickville Road, Marrickville and surrounding streets

 

THIS APPLICATION IS TO BE PART OF THE LICENSED AREA FOR MARRICKVILLE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Marrickville is the Inner West’s hub of creativity, culture, and live music. Each year, the Marrickville Music Festival draws over 20,000 locals and visitors for a day of music, dancing, food, and drinks along Marrickville Road.

The festival showcases a diverse lineup of original music across multiple stages and highlights artists with strong ties to Marrickville or the Inner West.

Inner West Council is now inviting local breweries and distillers to apply as sponsors for the 2025 festival. A designated licensed area on Garners Avenue will feature a curated selection of local brewers and distillers, celebrating the best of the Inner West.

The cost of Sponsorship for this event is $1,000 ex GST.

 

Please read all the information in this application carefully. Please note, participation in previous events does not guarantee an offer as a vendor.

Please note, at the end of the form you will be asked to attach:

  1. Copy of your Public Liability Certificate of Currency ($20M); 
  2. Copy of your Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  3. A fully disclosed product list and photos of your stall set-up and products.

Selection Criteria

Marrickville Music Festival licensed area will be operating under a Trade Fair Licence. To participate in Marrickville Music Festival, vendors must meet the following requirements:

  • Be based within the Inner West LGA. As limited spaces are available for Inner West brewers, distillers and local bars, priority will be given to vendors based in and around the Marrickville area
  • Provide their own 3x3m Marquee and appropriate weights (min 10kg per leg water or lead weights)
  • Beverages must be served in cans (no glass or plastic cups).
  • Hold a current Food Vendor Licence (and hyperlink that web page) or be willing to obtain one
  • Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws, including any required permits for all staff intending to work on the event.
  • Must have the right liquor license to allow you to serve alcohol to the public

Selection of vendors is the final decision of Council and no further correspondence will be entered into. Council reserves the right to amend the selection criteria at any time without notice. Incomplete applications may not be considered.

FOOD VENDOR LICENCE: The new temporary Food Vendor Licence allows annual and unlimited trading (with approval of the event organiser) at any registered markets or festivals held in the Inner West local Government area and must be paid directly to the Regulatory Support team. For more information about how to take advantage of the simplified registration process, or to pay your registration fee please visit our website.
