Inner West Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local community organisations, groups, and sole traders to deliver creative programs that support healthy ageing across the Inner West. Programs should foster social connection, lifelong learning, and creative engagement, with a focus on reducing isolation and encouraging intergenerational participation.
Applicants may apply for up to $10,000 per year (inclusive of GST) for a three-year period (2026–2029).
All projects must take place within the Inner West local government area (LGA) and align with Council’s priorities around healthy ageing, inclusion, and community connection.
Objectives
Projects should aim to:
•Increase creative engagement and artistic opportunities for older people
•Reduce social isolation through inclusive participation
•Promote lifelong learning and intergenerational knowledge-sharing
•Encourage community participation and connection
•Be affordable, accessible, and inclusive
•Actively engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, multicultural communities, and people living with a disability
This initiative supports the delivery of Council’s:
•Healthy Ageing Strategy
•Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2023–2026
•Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan
•Community Strategic Plan 2041
Successful applicants will be required to:
- provide evidence of inclusive practice and engage with our accessibility guidelines
- ensuring accessibility in the organisation and delivery of the program
- provide Council a simple report including data, statistics, and outcomes of the program
- to include Council’s logo on any promotional material, and
- provide a budget and acquittal including copies of receipts and invoices
