Beyond the Studio 2026

Welcome to the application form for the 2026 Beyond the Studio - Audience Engagement program. Support of up to $10,000 is available to support Inner West studio-based artists, collectives, makers spaces and Artist-Run-Initiatives (ARIs) to create public engagement initiatives that showcase their work, engage the local community and/or bring new audiences to the Inner West.

Applicant Guidelines

Before completing this application, please make sure you have read the Applicant Guidelines to check your project is eligible and meets the objectives of the program. If you are unsure, it is recommended that you speak to Olivia Patchett on 02 9335 2123 (Mon-Thurs) or Belinda Walter on 02 9392 5784 (Mon-Fri) to chat through your project idea before applying.

Please submit this form by 4pm, Tuesday 28 October 2025. Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

• Please provide a response to all relevant questions
• When you have completed all of the questions on a page, click on Next Page to view the next page of the application
• Click Save regularly so you do not lose any information you have entered
• You can jump to any page in the application form by using the Application Form Navigation table on the right side
• Once you have completed all the pages the last page will provide you with the opportunity to Review your application. If you are happy with your application you can Submit.
• If you have answered all of the required questions a Confirmation Message will be displayed to acknowledge your application has been submitted

If the applicant works for Inner West Council or is affiliated with Council or if members of the public could have grounds to perceive that the artist applicant could personally have had influence in this application decision, you must declare this now.
